Devin Heroux – Devin Heroux’s Award-winning journalism, now spanning
nearly two decades, recently earned him the King Charles III Coronation
Medal, given to Canadians who have made significant contribution to their
country and home abroad.  

Glenn Howard – Four World Championships. Four Brier Championships.
17 Ontario Tankards. 16 Grand Slam Championships. One of the most
recognizable people in curling ever from one of the most recognizable
curling families ever. Inducted into the Canadian Curling Hall of Fame in
1991.

Marilyn Bodogh – Also known as Marilyn Darte. Skip for the women’s team
at the most famous Battle of the Sexes against Ed Werenich in 1986. Two
World Women’s Curling Championships. Two Scotties Tournament of
Hearts Championships.

Kathy Chittley-Young – (McEdwards) Third for Marilyn Bodogh at the 1986
Battle of the Sexes. One World Women’s Curling Championship. One
Scotties Tournament of Hearts Championship.

Mike Harris – Represented Canada at the 1998 Winter Olympics in
Nagano, Japan where he won the silver medal. Curling broadcaster.

Sherry Middaugh – Five-time Ontario Scotties Champion. Seven
appearances at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts. Two Grand Slam
Titles. Won the 2025 Canadian Senior Women’s Curling Championship
and represented Canada at the 2026 World Senior Curling Championships
winning the bronze medal.

Rachel Homan – 2026 Olympic bronze medalist. Five Scotties Tournament
of Hearts championships in eleven appearances. Three world

Tracy Fleury – 2026 Olympic bronze medalist. Eight appearances at the

Emma Miskew – Bronze medalist at 2026 Winter Olympics. Three-time

Brett Gallant – Gold medalist at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano
Cortina. Bronze medalist at the 2022 Winter Games in Beijing. Fourteen
appearances at the Brier. Four appearances at the World Curling
championships. 3 appearances at the World Mixed Doubles. One
appearance at the Pan Continental. Fourteen Grand Slam titles.

Ben Hebert – Gold medalist at the 2026 winter Olympics in Milano Cortina.
Gold medalist at the 2010 winter Olympics in Vancouver. Two-time world
champion. Five-time Brier champion. The life of every party he attends.
Coach – Paul Webster – Coached at 5 winter Olympics. Olympic team
leader for Canada in 2014, 2018, and 2022. National Training Centre
leader and head coach in Calgary from 2005 to 2022. Has coached at 16
World Championships.

Mark Ideson – Bronze medal at the 2018 winter Olympics in Pyeong
Chang. Bronze medal at the 2022 winter Olympics in Beijing. Gold medal
at the 2014 winter Olympics in Sochi. And Gold medalist last year at the
2026 winter Olympics in Milano Cortina (one of the most pressure filled last
rocks in the history of the game. Why did you throw it?)

Jon Thurston – Bronze medalist at the 2022 Paralympic Winter Games in
Beijing. Gold medalist this year at the 2026 Paralympic Winter Games in
Milano Cortina.

Collinda Joseph – Bronze medalist at the 2022 Paralympic Games in
Beijing. Gold medalist at the 2026 Paralympic Winter Games in Milano
Cortina.

Gilbert Dash – Gold medalist at the 2026 Paralympic Games in Milano
Cortina.

Coach – Mick Lizmore – Currently head coach of the Canadian National
Paralympic Curling program that won gold this past year in Italy. Won the
2016 Canadian Mixed Curling championship. Played for such notable
skips as Brendan Botcher, Mark Kean and Scott MacDonald. Biggest
accomplishment was marrying Sarah Wilkes.

Lori Eddy – 4 Scotties appearances representing Nunavut and Ontario.
Played in the 2013 Olympic Trials in Winnipeg. Coached Team Armstrong
this past season to an Ontario Scotties Championship. An instructor at the
Camp this week.

Kate Hagen – Played competitively with Sherry Middaugh and Colleen
Jones. Worked at curling camps across Canada and Europe. Coach of
the Saugeen District Senior School Curling program. Member of the Port
Elgin Curling Club. An instructor at the camp this week.

Maurice Wilson – Coached at 30 provincial championships at various
levels. He is a Master Coach Developer for Curling Canada. Won the
Asham Ontario Junior Coach of the Year award in 2003 and 2004. Named
Canadian University Coach of the Year in 2011 and 2012. As a coach at
Laurier his teams won back-to-back National Championships and gold at
the International Curling Championship in Karuizawa, Japan. He is the
head instructor at the Camp this week and a member of the Port Elgin
Curling Club.
