A NEWSLETTER FOR CURLERS

QUICK REMINDERS

PRO-AM FUNSPIEL is this Saturday, December 3rd at the curling club.  Register on the PECC webpage.  Cost is $25/curler and the entry fee includes food (coffee/muffins, appetizers, lunch) and prizes.  You can sign up as a single, couple or as a team of pro-am players. Teams will be two “Pros” (4+ years of curling) and two “Ams” (3 years or less on the ice).  Take a break from Christmas preps and have some fun Saturday at the club.

 WORK DUTY SIGN-UP

Keep checking the bulletin board near the women’s locker room for work duty vacancies.

SUPERSPIEL FOLLOW -UP

The Champ team from Kitchener/Waterloo, winners of our Superspiel, followed up their win here with a win at the Stu Sells Cookstown Classic.  They are gathering ranking points and we may see them in the Tankard, at the Plex in January.  They are back in action Friday and over the weekend in Brantford.

TANKARD/SCOTTIES TICKET SALES

Weekend ticket packages go on sale tomorrow, December 1st.  If you are interested or have friends and family who are interested, ask them to purchase their tickets using the PECC webpage.  It’s easy and the club gets a portion of the tickets sold that way.  Remember, FULL EVENT PASSES continue to be on sale and they are a great price!
